Please join us for a screening of Waging Change - a film by Peabody award winner Abby Ginzberg, documenting the campaign to end the subminimum wage for tipped workers and ensure all workers receive a full minimum wage with tips on top. With America facing the highest level of income inequality in the nation's history, Waging Change presents a timely depiction of the plight of the nation's lowest-wage workers and their fight to receive a livable wage and not have to rely on tips. Following the film's premier at DOC NYC to a sold-out crowd, Waging Change is beginning its national tour at the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice with a screening and panel including the filmmaker, several of the film's main characters, and other notable panelists.
